You can help
The PWI sections rely on volunteers. Each section is run by a small committee and the Sections welcome anyone who would like to be more involved. Its a great way to meet more people and doesn't take up a lot of time. If you are interested please contact either the Section Secretary or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Local PWI sections organise technical seminars in their regions. They are always looking for people to help with either the planning and/or execution of the seminars. If you would be interested in helping please contact email@example.com and the membership team will pass on your details to the relevant people.
We are always looking for high quality articles for The Journal.
If you hear a good paper why not see if the presenter would be interested in publishing in the Journal.
All articles published qualify for CPD and will be entered into our annual Journal Awards.
Articles should be of a technical nature but we are also interested to receive articles on the following areas:
- Rail projects with an emphasis on infrastructure engineering
- Overseas projects and engineering practices
- Light Rail
- Heritage Rail
Please contact Kerrie Illsley PWI Designer and Journal Production Editor
In past years the PWI has run a summer convention. This is primarily a social event though normally with a 'railway' theme and takes place over a long weekend. If you would like to be involved with organising future social events please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
