V/Line - Track & Civil Engineering Roles

As part of a constantly evolving industry, V/Line is responsible for over 80 train stations and maintenance of approximately 4,200 kilometres of rail track across Victoria. The organisation is committed to maintaining a high focus on safety and delivering excellent customer service, continually striving to improve the overall customer experience.
We are currently looking for various Engineering roles within the V/Line company. Specifically a Senior Engineer in Rail Management, a Senior Engineer in Track and Civil, and also Track and Civil Engineers.
To be successful in securing this role you will be tertiary qualified in an Engineering Discipline (preferably civil or mechanical) and possess sound experience with railway technical support or maintenance within an Accredited Railway Organisation (ARO). You will demonstrate a proven ability to provide oversight in the management of railway track conditions. You will hold strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as the ability to solve problems.
The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience. The selection process may include aptitude assessments, a behavioural event interview, national probity (police) check and medical examination in line with the National Standard for Health Assessment for Rail Safety Workers.
