GWR - Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway

The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway is a heritage railway based at Toddington in Gloucestershire.

The GWR operates steam and diesel trains between Cheltenham Race Course and the site of the original Laverton Halt; with the intention of opening its extension from Laverton to Broadway in 2018.  The railway is a single line with three passing loops, four signal boxes and operates under the electric key token system.

The track work is both bullhead and flat bottom with the majority of this being either 95lb bullhead on timber sleepers or 113A flat bottom on SHC or Pandrol clipped concrete sleepers.  One section of flat bottom rail near Bishops Cleeve is continuously welded and the majority of the line north of Toddington to Laverton is also continuously welded, as will be the extension to Broadway.
