The PWI London Section Techs Factor competition 10th April 2017

This year five young engineers presented papers on engineering projects they had been involved in to the audience.
 
The judging panel consisted of Stephen Barber (London Underground), Sharon Odetunde (RSSB) and Peter Lugg (PWI London Section committee).
 
The presenters were:
 
Raffaella Urbani - BScan Ultrasonic Rail Testing
 
Clarke Arthur - Liverpool Street S&C Design
 
Gielie DuPlessis - Deep tube renewal innovation
 
Savanna-Rei Rennalls - Improving rail grinding safe systems of work
 
Harry Morgan - Is London Underground track over-canted?
 
All the papers were of very high quality.
 
The Peter Coyston Trophy was awarded to Gielie DuPlessis by Heather Coyston with the remaining presenters being highly commended.
