I decided to apply for professional registration as an incorporated engineer with the PWI to demonstrate to others my commitment to self-development, dedication to the railway industry and to raise the profile of railway drainage.

The process and PWI guidance documents were helpful, I felt supported throughout by the PWI, my sponsor and supporter.

Registration will help me achieve my long held career aim of attaining the role of Regional Asset Manager (Drainage & Lineside) within Network Rail.
