PWI Annual Celebration Event 2017

Our Corporate members joined us for drinks & canapés at our annual celebration event where we celebrated our Professional Registrants’ success.

The first good news story of the year is the re-emergence of the South Wales Section. The new Section Secretary, Andrew Wilson, and the committee have put together a programme of late afternoon meetings.  They will take place on the second Monday of the month at 17.15. The professional registration project is now gathering pace

The AGM in June was held successfully, despite a location that proved to be rather harder to reach than we had expected! We’ll be looking at using a better venue next year. Also in June, Steve Whitmore and I manned the PWI stand at Rail Live. Network Rail kindly hosted us in the large marquee for their High Output team and we were kept pretty busy for the two days. Judging by that event, interest in the PWI is certainly growing.
